Associate
Sally Sullivan is an associate at McEvoy & Associates,
a New York-based fundraising strategy and event planning firm for the
political and nonprofit sectors. Beginning as an intern, Sally showed
such promise and willingly assumed more responsibilities, that she was
asked to become an employee of the firm.
Event Management Experience
Under the tutelage of president and founder Melanie McEvoy, Sally has
gained considerable knowledge and experience in many aspects of fundraising
and event planning. She provides valuable assistance with the firm’s
wide range of projects and played a key role in several key fundraising

Even as an intern, Sally proved to be a quick learner, eager to take on
more tasks and to hone her skills in fundraising and event planning. Her

Previous Experience & Education
Sally is from St. Louis, MO and came to New York to attend college. Originally
a classical voice major, she shifted her focus from the opera stage to
the world stage, and changed her major to international relations. Sally’s
interest in politics, world travel and current events led her to pursue
a summer volunteering opportunity at an orphanage in Nepal where she also
had the chance to live with a Nepali family, an internship at the World
Citizen Foundation and. a semester of study abroad in Florence, Italy.
Sally has a bachelor’s degree in international
relations from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at New York
University. |
