The West Side Center for Community Life
The West Side Center for Community Life (WSCCL) is a tax-exempt, non-religious not-for-profit organization in The Church of St. Paul & St. Andrew United Methodist located on New York City’s upper West Side. The WSCCL’s social service programs are staffed each day by 30 staff members and 30 volunteers. The programs include: Homework Helps – after-school tutoring for children with special needs; West Side Ecumenical Ministry to the Elderly Mainstream Health and Nutrition Center Meals on Wheels – delivers food to over 500 elderly upper West Side residents; Homeless Shelter – houses 10 women who work but cannot afford adequate housing; West Side Campaign Against Hunger Food Pantry – provides emergency food, counseling and skill training, operating like a cooperative supermarket where customers select their own food and assist in the operation of the store.

New York State Assemblymember Jonathan Bing
Jonathan Bing is the recently elected assembly member of the 73rd Assembly District in New York City. His race was one of the most expensive campaigns for a state assembly seat in the history of New York.

NYC Councilman Bill de Blasio
City Councilman Bill de Blasio is a long-time Park Slope resident who has spent his career in public service. In 2000 he served as campaign manager for now US Senator Hillary Clinton. George Jepsen was the Senate Majority Leader in the Connecticut State Senate until he ran for governor in 2002. Right before the primary he teamed up with Bill Curry, Connecticut’s former Controller, and ran as Lt. Governor on the ticket.
